Hurricane Florence and Typhoon ShanZhu

Hurricane "Florence" moves despite reduced wind strength with great destructive power on the southeast coast of the United States.
 
Due to current weather conditions, delays and outages at the following ports are likely: Virginia, Norfolk, Wilmington, Charleston and Savannah.
As the National Hurricane Center announced on Thursday night, the storm is sweeping across the Atlantic at wind speeds of around 175 kilometers per hour.
 
Meteorologists had previously not ruled out that the storm could develop into a hurricane of the highest magnitude 5, that could reach wind speeds of more than 250 kilometers per hour.
 
Meanwhile, the agency warns of life-threatening storm surges and heavy rains.

In addition, there may be unexpected delays in China due to typhoon ShanZhu around the 15th of September. For safety reasons, the operation at Yantian harbor will be discontinued at 8:00 pm local time from 14th September. The ports in ShenZhen, GuangZhou, HongKong and the South Chinese airports (CAN, SZX, HKG) may also experience delays as a result of the typhoon.
